hey, who likes the current white background we have for the zone? or if you were here, who liked it, when we had the black one.

The white is too hard on the eyes. Black or dark blue would be better.

Well since we all are most likely not to agree on one color why not see if J can put a color menu in out Account Settings so we can choose which ever color we want.
Like Dark Red, Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Dark Blue, Black, and etc... We'll see what happens. The white gives me a headache every now then cuz of the brightness so I'm all for this if it can be done.

some kind of coding problem. i remember loging in, and thinking, hey, the zone is not usually black, what happened?. it only lasted one day, but i wish it remained, as the colour was much better
Yeah. I also found a user's profile and it was a black bakground but everything else is white. and if you are thinking of the color menu please don't make it just for premium members. that wouldn't be fare to everyone else who suffers from headaches due to the anoying color of white.
What are the yellow lines that I see on every board post.
I think the yellow lines indicate the breaks between each of the posts that way you can find a post easier or read in between easier, I'm VI so it helps me out.
Yes I agree, the color menu should be for everyone, it wouldn't be fair to those who have to stare at this piercing white background. Who's profile had a black background I wonder? I'm pretty sure others get headache looking at the svreen while on here, I know I do.
We should all vote on colors to be put in the menu cuz I'm sure Admin doesn't want to put in all the colors. Mine are Black (Definite) and Blue. The site will most definitely benefit from this change. We just need to give him a basic idea of what we want/need.
i agree chris, at the moment, i prefer my monitor off, cause of this background. so um, what to say....why not post here, with the colours that you all want? i think it is a start
My preferred background colors would be #000000, #0000F0, and #F00000. As for foreground colors, I'm all for #FFFFFF, #FF0000, and #00FF00.

Background colors: Black, dark gray, dark blue, dark green, dark red, dark purple, dark brown, blue, green, gray, forest green, navy blue
Text colors: white, yello, light gray, light blue, light green, light orange, light pink
all of the text colors work on the background colors accept maybe your typical blue
SS, it would have been better if you used unordered lists (ul tags). That information was sort of organized, but we screen reader users would prefer lists using HTML.
yes I kind of figured that after I wrote it. unfortunatally you can't edit posts after you submit them. and yes I know lists are better because I am also a screan reader person.

Those yellow things separate each post. They are a bit distracting even though my vision is very limited and I can see colors.
